Terms of Sale & License

Effective July 24, 2026

These terms are a plain-language agreement for buying and using CrossOff. By purchasing, installing, or using the app, you agree to them.

The license you're buying

CrossOff is sold as a one-time purchase of $19.99 USD for a lifetime license. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CrossOff on devices you control, for as long as you comply with these terms. The app is licensed, not sold. Your license includes updates released within the current major version at no extra cost.

Your license key

After payment you receive a unique license key, shown on the confirmation page and sent to your email. Keep it private. You are responsible for activity under your key. We may revoke a key that is shared publicly, resold, or associated with a reversed or disputed payment.

Acceptable use

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or use CrossOff to violate the law or another person's rights. You may not circumvent licensing or security controls. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Payment & taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise; applicable VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout and shown before you pay.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

Your data

You retain ownership of the content you enter into CrossOff. You are responsible for its legality, accuracy, and backup. CrossOff stores your data locally and does not provide cloud backup in this version.

Updates and availability

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. Purchased rights and any refund entitlement remain subject to this agreement and mandatory consumer law.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, CrossOff and this website are provided “as is” without additional warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for CrossOff in the preceding 12 months. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination and law

This license ends if you materially breach these terms. You must then stop using and delete the app. These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without removing any mandatory protections available in your country of residence.
